Interior Designer / Project Manager for Home Design Firm

***** REQUIRES 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE W/ AUTOCAD AND 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE AS AN INTERIOR DESIGNER FOR RESIDENTIAL SINGLE FAMILY HOMES AND HOME ADDITIONS. *****

Work with homeowners, designers, engineers, and more as a team member of our growing Design Services team. Our Design Services department provides exposure and opportunity to integrate with various departments – design, marketing, sales, manufacturing, and more.

You have the opportunity to leverage your creative talent to help drive the success of an established leader as we set our sights on growing our market. As an Architectural designer, you will meet with clients and manage their jobs from start to finish. This is not a sales role, but a creative role for someone who is passionate about interior design and enjoys building relationships.

You will have the opportunity to help clients (homeowners, investors, and builders) design their residential home projects from the ground up.

Specific Functions

  • Initiate and conduct site visits to ensure correct site conditions
  • Ability to interface and communicate with customers and co-workers in a clear and professional manner.
  • Manage junior draftsman
  • Knowledge of Autocad, Adobe, Microsoft Excel, Word and other computer programs.
  • Maintain company documentation and generate correspondence regarding the design/permitting process.
  • Add customer information/status to company project database.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Excellent writing and verbal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Desire to provide excellent customer assistance.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Neat, professional appearance.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, and a car.
  • No history of criminal convictions.
  • Comes to work on-time all the time.
